A reader wanted to know how to change the setup for an employee deduction against a loan so that it could be eliminated for a single paycheck in QuickBooks.

You don’t change the setup for the deduction, you merely eliminate it from the paycheck. Edit the paycheck details in QuickBooks to remove the deduction or to change the amount to 0.00.
